Upgrade a Vintage Ferrari with the Classiche Program
Well over 60 years old, Ferrari has for decades maintained a reputation for creating powerful and beautiful vehicles. Those with a passion for cars can appreciate any vintage Ferrari, but now they can drive one too with the Classiche Program’s factory restoration. Similar to an endeavor Mercedes began a few years back, Ferrari has created the Classiche Program to serve its most loyal and appreciative customers: the men and woman who love old Ferraris so much they want to refurbish them with factory parts and technicians.
The manufacturer has announced plans to build multiple Classiche facilities around the world, but it’s starting where the car began: in Maranello, Italy. Owners of models at least 20 years old can ship their vintage Ferrari to the facility to undergo a rigorous inspection. If the evaluation deems the car wholly original, they will refurbish it, piece by piece, until in its interior and engine carries the same power and sleekness of its bygone era.
Obviously, with just the cost of shipping and the risk of the Classiche technicians’ rejection, the program is not a cheap one. If approved to undergo this restoration, however, the moment the work is complete any vintage Ferrari will appreciate immeasurably in value. Very few functional and well-maintained vintage vehicles exist for the brand, which means every Classiche makeover will create a nearly priceless relic. Businessmen can look at the process, then, as an investment, while true lovers of Ferrari can use the program to finally own the car of their dreams.
